September 17, 2016October 1, 2016

The Scottish Diaspora Tapestry, a project to involving communities around the world in celebration of Scottish heritage and culture, the people and places which connect Scotland to its global diaspora, will be on display at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church from September 17 until October 1, 2016.

The tapestries bring together stories from Scottish settlers in many communities around the world and documents them in more than 300 embroidered panels on these beautiful pieces of art. There are tapestries from each country where Scots have settled, and each have many different panels depicting different moments in history. There are even global panels depicting events such as music, whiskey, and the highland games!

Regions and countries of interest include Canada, Australia, The Baltics, and Asia. For a full list of countries, please click here.
