The St. Andrew’s Society Fall Mixer

Please join us on Thursday, October 18 for a fall mixer in support of the St. Andrew’s Society of Toronto. The event will run between 7-11pm and is open to the public. There is no charge to attend so please invite anyone who would be interested in an evening of Scottish-Canadian culture and hospitality. There will be artists, musicians, dancers and others who work in support of preserving our heritage in attendance. It promises to be a fun night!
The Venue
The event takes place in a private room on the third floor of the Brazen Head Pub (165 East Liberty Street) in Liberty Village. The venue is fully licensed with a broad menu that includes vegetarian options. Attendees must be 19+ years of age.
Entertainment
Singer/guitarist Jim Maxwell and fiddler Kerry Fitzgerald will be performing traditional and modern Celtic music between between 8-11pm. There will be details on upcoming St. Andrew’s Society events as well as appearances from piper Rory Sinclair and the McDonnell Highland Dancers.
Getting There
For those taking the TTC, the closest streetcar is King and Exhibition which is a 5-minute walk from the venue. There is parking at Metro across the street and also on Atlantic and East Liberty Street (2 min walk to venue).
